Bulgarian Children Go Back to School
Yesterday marked the start of the Bulgarian school year and according to media reports, some 60,000 first graders started classes in Bulgaria's around 3,100 schools.
The new year started among serious worries regarding the financing of education in Bulgaria, with budgets to universities reportedly cut and teachers' salaries being notoriously low.
According to recent demographic reports, less and less children are enrolling in Bulgarian schools each year.
