Our Landlady Didn't Pay the Bill

This morning we woke up to discover that the Internet was not working in our home. This was not due to any technical problems, but rather to the fact that our landlady didn't pay her bill on time. All our utilities are covered in our rental agreement, and that includes the Internet connection. Apparently, there isn't the possibility to give a standing order at your bank or with your credit card to deduct the regular payments every month. Instead, you have to pay your bills on time, and if you are late, you will suffer the consequences. Well, the landlady eventually did pay the bill today, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to write about it on our blog!
